We put on a production of Jane Chambers' one-act play, A Quintessential Image, as a fundraiser for this documentary, and also filmed selected scenes from the production for use in the documentary. The play stars Julia Campanelli and Jere Jacob. I first saw this play in 1989 [1], so it was a real privilege to produce it again. Unlike other productions, we decided to actually create the images discussed in the play -- the prize-winning photographs taken by Lacey Lanier (Jacob). This become an involved labor of love that would not have been possible without the volunteer help of several graphic artists.
